Shane Macrorie

I am a senior studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of Kansas and am interested in aerodynamic optimization, supersonic/hypersonic flow, and aircraft design. My work within the CTLab has focused on aerodynamic optimization using evolutionary algorithms. I love being involved on campus and currently hold positions as the Vice Chair for KU's AIAA Student Branch as well as the Aerodynamics Lead for Jayhawk Aero Design. Outside of school, I enjoy playing volleyball with friends, rock climbing, mountain biking, and playing board games.
